This desk organizer (pen holder) was hand turned by me out of aromatic cedar found laying on the forest floor near my house. I have left it unfinished so you can enjoy the smell of the cedar tree. The walls are thick and they do have some weight to them. When I turn these, I try to leave them with some of the natural occurring defects found in the old wood showing. I also do not sand them to a super smooth surface. I leave some what of a rough finish to give them a more natural character. A "natural" look with the smell of the cedar forest.

My holders are hand turned on my 50 plus year old wood lathe from down cedar trees laying on the forest floor for years near my shop.
I can't guarantee natures work. I can only assure you that when I am working on the wood lathe all the skill and ability I have will go into what nature has provided me. My craftsmanship is in every piece I turn.
