This desk organizer (pen holder) is hand turned out of aromatic cedar. The walls are thick and they do have some weight to them. When I turn these, I leave them with some of the naturaly occuring defects found in the cedar. The wood grain in this holder is beautiful. You are sure to enjoy!
My holders are hand turned on my 50 plus year old wood lathe from down cedar trees laying on the forest floor for years near my shop.
I can't guarantee natures work. I can only assure you that when I am working on the wood lathe all the skill and ability I have will go into what nature has provided me. My craftsmanship is in every piece I turn.
