Enjoy this solid piece of old cedar as you use it to make whatever you want. I use them to make my "Cedar Esential Oil Holders". I suppose you could just put into your closet for the smell of cedar if you didnt want to build something out of it!
You are buying the block of aromatic cedar shown in this set of pictures. It is in its rough form as I found it on the forest floor. You are buying it with all the imperfections that come standard with old dry cedar. Cracks, and flaws abound. As these old pieces of cedar age they often develop even more cracks. So with all of this in mind..........don't buy it if you want perfection. Buy it because nature made it for you to enjoy as it ages as we do. Better with time.
I have left the outside surface and shape as I found the log with the exception of cutting off some branches. The ends, or length of the piece, have been saw cut to length of approximetly 2 3/4".
