You are buying the holder shown in this set of pictures with the imperfections that come standard with old dry cedar. Cracks, flaws and natural imperfections on the surfaces can be seen in the photographs. As these old pieces of cedar age they may develop more cracks. So with all of this in mind..........don't buy it if you want perfection. Buy it because nature made it for you to enjoy as it ages. The holder may change color with time. This aromatic cedar essential oil holder is ready to use in its natural state. It does not have any type of finish applied to its surface. The last picture shows a different holder that I have applied mineral oil to the surface. It is only on this listing to show you what can be done to your holder if you decide to apply an oil finish after you receive it. Applying the oil finish of your choice is not difficult to do. This Essential oil holder is designed to hold 3 bottles. The bottle holes are 1 3/16" in diameter and 1/2" deep. Essential oil bottles and background items not included with holder. When you hold this in your hand, it's beauty will impress you. It will provide you with a lifetime of pleasure. Nature at its best! I can't guarantee nature's work.
